By engaging the services of Around The Clock Enterprises Inc. (“ATC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all services including rug washing, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, hardwood floor cleaning, stain removal, pet odor removal, moth prevention, commercial cleaning, and all other specialty cleaning services provided by ATC in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York.
ATC provides professional cleaning services including but not limited to:
Area rug and Oriental rug washing (facility-based)
In-home carpet cleaning services
Upholstery and cushion cleaning
Outdoor cushion cleaning
Tile, grout, and hardwood floor cleaning
Stain removal and protection treatments
Pet urine and odor removal with 100% Odor Removal Guarantee
Moth prevention applications
Deodorizing and sanitizing services
Commercial and janitorial office cleaning services
Most area rugs will be transported to our facility for proper cleaning, while certain services (wall-to-wall carpet, upholstery, tile and grout, hardwood floors) are performed on-site at the client’s location.
Free estimates are available by calling (516) 523-6824. Estimates provided are approximate and may be adjusted based on actual condition discovered during pre-inspection or service.
Appointments must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.
All pricing is determined based on the specific service, size, condition, and material of items being cleaned. Final pricing may differ from initial estimates if actual conditions vary significantly from what was described.
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged. We accept cash, credit cards, and checks. A deposit may be required for certain large-scale or commercial projects.
Accounts not paid within 30 days of service completion may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower.
All rugs and items undergo a thorough pre-inspection to assess fiber content, construction, existing damage, dye stability, stains, odors, and appropriate cleaning procedures. This inspection determines the proper cleaning method and identifies any pre-existing conditions.
Clients must disclose all known issues, including previous cleaning attempts, pet accidents, water damage, moth damage, or any chemical treatments applied to items. Failure to disclose material information may void guarantees and result in additional charges.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate descriptions of items, including approximate size, fiber content (if known), and any concerns during the estimate process.
ATC is not responsible for pre-existing damage, including but not limited to: worn fibers, discoloration, dye bleeding, weak seams, rotted fringe, prior stains, odors, or structural damage discovered during inspection or cleaning.
Some conditions are not discoverable until cleaning begins. We will make every reasonable effort to identify issues during pre-inspection, but we are not liable for hidden damage that becomes apparent during the cleaning process.
While we test for dye stability, some rugs may experience dye bleeding or color fading due to poor dye quality, previous improper cleaning, or age. We will attempt to correct dye bleeding when possible but cannot guarantee complete restoration.
While we specialize in stain removal for various substances including wine, blood, paint, ink, pet stains, and food/beverage stains, we cannot guarantee complete removal of all stains. Some stains may be permanent due to chemical changes in the fiber or age of the stain.
Natural fiber rugs (wool, cotton, silk) may experience minor shrinkage (typically 1-3%) during the cleaning process due to fiber relaxation.
ATC offers a 100% Odor Removal Guarantee for pet-stained rugs cleaned through our full submersion washing process. This guarantee applies only to odors removed during the initial cleaning and does not cover re-contamination or new accidents.
We strive for complete customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with our services, you must notify us within 48 hours of service completion to allow us the opportunity to address your concerns.
Our guarantees do not cover damage resulting from client misuse, improper care after cleaning, accidents occurring after service, or conditions beyond our control.
For facility-based rug cleaning, we will schedule pickup at a mutually agreeable time. Clients must provide clear access to rugs and ensure someone 18 years or older is present to authorize pickup.
Cleaned rugs are typically ready for return within 2-3 weeks, depending on service volume and specific treatments required. Rugs will be stored at our facility for up to 45 days at no charge. After 45 days, a storage fee of $25 per month may apply.
We will contact clients when rugs are ready for delivery or pickup. Clients must schedule delivery/pickup within 30 days of notification.
ATC and its staff are fully insured and bonded. Our liability for any loss or damage is limited to the amount paid for the specific service performed.
In no event shall ATC’s total liability exceed the lesser of: (a) the actual cash value of the damaged item, or (b) the cost of the cleaning service provided.
While in our care, your items will be handled with professional care. However, you acknowledge that cleaning processes involve inherent risks, and ATC is not liable for damage resulting from fragile condition, age-related deterioration, or hidden defects.
Client agrees to indemnify and hold ATC harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from third-party claims related to items we service on the client’s behalf.
For in-home services, clients must provide safe access to all areas requiring service. Clients are responsible for moving furniture, valuables, and fragile items unless separate arrangements have been made.
Clients must provide adequate parking and workspace for our technicians and equipment during service appointments.
For safety reasons, clients must secure pets and supervise children during service appointments.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. ATC Rug Washing & Specialty Cleaning Services and mobile carriers are not responsible for any delays in the receipt of SMS messages, as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your mobile network operator. SMS message services are provided on an “as is” basis.
Our SMS program is compatible with major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and other participating carriers. However, service availability may vary by carrier and location.
You must be 18 years of age or older to consent to receive SMS messages from Around The Clock Rug Washing & Specialty Cleaning Services. By providing your mobile phone number, you certify that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to agree to receive text messages at the number provided.

In the event of any dispute, clients agree to first contact ATC directly to attempt an informal resolution.
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Nassau County, New York, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
You agree that any proceedings to resolve disputes will be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action or representative action.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
ATC reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be effective upon posting to our website or upon notification to clients. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
ATC shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, natural disasters, pandemic, government restrictions, or severe weather conditions.
These Terms of Service, together with any service-specific agreements and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ATC regarding our services.
