Around The Clock

Your Rug Doesn’t Need Another Steam.

It needs a Wash.

Most cleaners just steam the surface. We remove the buildup hiding deep in your rug—so your space actually feels clean.

I saw their ad on Facebook and was very impressed With the video showing how they clean the rugs. I didn’texpect a great job because my dog damaged my rug. I was so surprised how beautiful it came out. It looks like I bought a brand new rug. I highly recommend this company and will use them forever.

Around the Clock took our large area rug, which was ingrained with dust and dog hair, and returned it a few days later looking brand new. They were on time, on budget, and very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended.

How It Works

Rug Pre-Inspection

Every rug that comes into Long Island’s Favorite Rug Spa is inspected for color fastness, bleeding, prior damage, etc. No two rugs are the same, so we make sure to determine the best course of action for your rug!

Rug Dusting

Every rug goes through a dusting process to remove all loose dirt, dust, and fibers! This helps us avoid creating mud when we wash and gets even more of our rug before we even start!

Rug Washing

It’s time for the main event! Your rug will get the full spa-treatment and any built-up dirt, dust, grime will get washed right out; leaving your rug dirt-free and smelling amazing!

Rug Drying

After the wash, your rug goes into our centrifuge! It not only does the same washing process we did, but 3-5 times per minute, it also gets your rug 95% dry in 3 minutes!

After your rug is hung up to dry on an angle and what’s left is a 100% dry and fully clean rug!

FAQ's

How long does rug washing take?

We wash rugs every Tuesday and Thursday, Typically, depending on what day the rug comes into our facility, we will wash the rug on one of those days and then need a couple of days to check if we need to do touch-ups. It usually takes about a week.

Is it safe for antique or silk rugs?

Yes! Our process is very safe for antique rugs, silk rugs and all other rug types. No two rugs are the same, so we examine every rug that comes into our rug spa. If we determine that the rug may be too delicate or at risk of bleeding, we have other options to get it clean and will discuss them with you!

If it is safe to wash, our process is actually the proper way to clean rugs! It’s a modern take on the old-world style of rug washing when rugs were washed in rivers and streams.

Do you offer pickup & delivery?

Yes we do! All over Long Island, we offer pick-up & delivery. (Rates depend on your location.)

If you’re not on Long Island, but you’re in the tri-state area, we recently partnered with a courier to pick up and deliver rugs! Give us a call for more information.

What’s the difference between rug washing and steam cleaning?

Steam cleaning only treats the surface. Our full-submersion washing process deep cleans the entire rug—removing dirt, odor, and bacteria trapped deep in the fibers.

Where do you clean the rugs?

Every rug is cleaned in our rug spa here in Farmingdale, NY by our trained and insured professionals. Nothing is outsourced.

Can you remove pet odor completely?

Yes we can! Thanks to our process, we guarantee 100% Odor Removal!

What cleaning solution do you use to clean rugs?

Our facility is fully-equipped to clean any rug type! We have different solutions for different types of rugs and all of them are specifically formulated for rugs!

Our cleaning solutions are different than store-bought soaps or other cleaning products because instead of attracting dirt like dish soap, our solution repels dirt. Also, instead of staying in the rug like some soaps or products, our formula crystallizes when dry and is dusted out after the rug wash to ensure you get back your rug soap-free and clean!
