AREA RUG WASHING

Full-submersion washing for every area rug type. Persian, Oriental, wool, silk, viscose, synthetic, shag, and custom pieces. We remove years of embedded soil, allergens, and odors without risking damage to fibers, dyes, or backing structure.

UPHOLSTERY CLEANING

Sofas, sectionals, accent chairs, ottomans, and custom cushions — cleaned using fabric-appropriate low-moisture methods that protect delicate weaves and finishes. We clean cotton, linen, velvet, leather, microfiber, and performance fabrics.

DRAPERY CLEANING

Custom drapery is irreplaceable. Our in-home drapery cleaning process uses specialized low-moisture techniques matched to each fabric type so drapes are refreshed, allergen-free, and reinstalled with minimal disruption to your staging or reveal schedule.

 

SILK & VISCOSE SPECIALIST

Silk and viscose rugs are among the most valuable and most commonly damaged by improper cleaning. We hand-wash silk with specialized chemistry and safely clean viscose while addressing and reversing cellulosic browning when present.

STAIN & ODOR TREATMENT

Can I send multiple rugs from different client projects at the same time?

Absolutely. Trade accounts are set up to handle multi-project batches. We tag and track each piece individually so nothing gets mixed up. Invoices are itemized by project for easy passthrough to your clients.

Do you offer pre-installation cleaning for newly sourced rugs?

Yes, and we encourage it. Rugs that have been in storage, shipped overseas, or sitting in a warehouse often carry dust, odors, and soil that aren't visible until they're in a client's light-filled space. A professional wash before installation ensures the piece looks and smells exactly as intended on reveal day.

How do you handle high-value or antique rugs?

Every rug begins with a thorough pre-cleaning inspection where we assess fiber type, dye stability, and construction method before any water or chemistry is applied. For antique or highly sensitive pieces, we contact you directly to walk through our findings and agree on the best approach before we proceed. Nothing is cleaned without your approval on pieces that require special consideration.

What is your typical turnaround time?

Most rugs are returned within 5–10 business days. Rush service is available for trade partners — just let us know your deadline when you schedule and we'll prioritize accordingly. Specialty pieces requiring additional treatment or repair may require a few extra days, and we'll communicate that to you upfront.

Do you offer pickup and delivery, or do items need to be dropped off?

We offer both. Pickup and delivery is available across Nassau and Suffolk County for trade partners. If you prefer to drop pieces off at our Farmingdale facility, you receive a 20% discount on the cleaning price. We can also coordinate directly with your client's property for pickup and delivery if that's more convenient for a given project.

Will you communicate directly with my clients, or do I stay in the middle?

Entirely your call. We can coordinate directly with your client for scheduling and delivery if you prefer — or we can route all communication through you. We never market to your clients or solicit repeat business from them. Your relationship is yours, and we respect that completely.

Are you certified and insured for working on high-value items?

Yes. All of our staff is fully-insured and bonded. Also, Around The Clock is a member of ARCS (Association of Rug Care Specialists) and IICRC certified. Your client's rugs and textiles are covered while in our care.
